The Role
 
As a Trainee Project Engineer you will be responsible for delivering capital projects within a manufacturing facility. You will manage several projects under the guidance of an experienced Project Engineer and lead the projects from scope to handover including site supervision of contractors. You will ensure that your projects are delivered on time and to budget, with constant communication at a site level to maintain alignment. To ensure your success, you will need to develop strong relationships with your stakeholder groups from project to project ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing.
 
Working within our busy manufacturing plant, you will be applying your knowledge while continuing to learn on the job, working with some of our best engineers to support execution of investment agenda (equipment & infrastructure modifications / new lines).
 
It’s a Monday-Friday role with a total of 40 hours a week.
 
Main Duties:
Ensure efficient technical projects execution according to the scope, budget and schedule considering legal regulations, norms, procedures and internal standards
Support continuous improvement agenda 
Evaluation of the technical specifications and project documentation
Managing the contractors according to the procedures and regulations
Support the necessary tests and trials in order to set up the optimum parameters of the lines / equipment
Preparing all the necessary documentation related to technical projects in compliance with the investment procedure

Qualifications
 


Master’s degree specialising in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechatronics or similar field

Ideally in the final year of Masters or recently graduated

Fluent in English and Polish Language

Excellent organizational skills

Very good collaboration and interpersonal skills

Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office
 
Starting date: May 2017
Duration: 6 months, however for right candidate there might be permanent placement within a business
