Manufacturing
As part of Manufacturing, you’ll use your skills, our systems and a wide array of raw materials to help create the delicious finished products our consumers love. While taking ownership in your area of work, you’ll also ensure the safety of yourself and your colleagues while producing our top-quality products reliably and efficiently within our integrated supply chain.
Packer/ Feeder
Performs manual packing into display or case packers. Continually checks for quality of packaged goods, correct code dates, etc. Maintains high quality while working at a fast pace.
Job responsibilities
•Performs combination of manual finishing jobs including machine operating, feeding, sorting, inspecting, counting, and packing.
•Checks for sub-standard product and informs operator of defect.
•Checks for code date legibility.
•Rotates as required to Operator position.
•Ability to lift and carry 15 kilograms.
•Assist operators in cleaning at end of shift and during major clean ups.

Qualifications
•Minimum of one year experience working at the Bertrand manufacturing site
•Demonstrated good attendance and punctuality
•Demonstrated adherence to safety and GMP practices/principles/policies
•Able to operate various types of equipment and demonstrated willingness to rotate to other work centres as required
•Able to learn and apply additional training such as L6S concepts and Quality Suites
•Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions.
•Pack bagged product into display/shipping containers at required pace and level of accuracy.
•Must observe all safety rules, practices and procedures in the performance of duties.
•Must maintain quality specifications at all times.
