Job description

Molly Bakes is one of London's leading cake bakeries. Every day we bake and decorate hundreds of cupcakes, cake pops, biscuits, large cakes and more. We create bespoke cakes for our clients who range from fashion and beauty brands to tech start ups and financial institutions.

Our bakery is in London Fields, Hackney and we're looking for enthusiastic interns with a passion for food, bakery and cake decorating to provide support to our team whilst learning the tricks of the trade from professionals at the same time.

We're looking for candidates who have some basic knowledge or skills in this field already, whether thats baking at home or having completed a related course.

Tasks will include;
Decorating cupcakes
Level and icing sponge cakes
Working with fondant
chocolate tempering
Making 2d and 3d decorations for cupcakes and cakes
Making cake pops
Assisting with general bakery duties
Packaging cakes beautifully

Desired profile

Understanding of baking
Passion for food
Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
Basic knowledge of cake decorating
Hygiene knowledge and awareness
Ability to work as part of a team
