ASSISTANT PHOTOGRAPHER

Location: Manchester Region

Salary: Negotiable and Competitive Depending on Experience

Type: 3 Month Contract

Assistant Photographer needed to join an innovative in-house design team.

Minky are a long established brand-leading quality homewares manufacturer with facilities and offices in the UK, USA, China, France and Germany. We supply a blue chip customer base worldwide and lead in several categories due to our innovation, quality and product design. The company holds both Royal and Prince’s Warrants.

Due to new product ranges and new and improved websites we are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Photographer to work within our head office to produce images of our products for ecommerce and packaging artwork.

The Role

• Style and photograph all product ranges
• Retouching product imagery to company standards using Adobe Photoshop including colour correction, processing of images, creation of clipping paths etc.
• Managing and maintaining a large image library for web and print
• Maintain studio equipment

Skills / Experience

• 1-2 years of commercial work ideally with a strong element of product photography
• You must have an obsessive eye for detail
• You must also have a good work ethic and work under pressure to make sure all new products are live on the day every day
• You must be organised and be able to handle high volumes of workload
• Creative photographer with the technical ability to deliver
• You will have previous experience of studio work using different lighting techniques
