We are expanding our GroupMe engineering team in London and looking for talented developers to join our web client team who have a passion for developing user interfaces and being on the leading edge of technology.   If you are passionate about web apps and great at building web apps, we want to hear from you!

As a Software Engineer on the team, you will:

- Work with other engineers on the team to design, architect, and implement end-to-end solutions to challenging problems

- Create user experiences that engage and delight our customers

-   Identify, debug and fix defects. Derive systemic problematic patterns and work on eradicating them.

- Collaborate with Product Management to create rapid prototypes of new ideas

Candidate Profile:

- Strong knowledge and substantial commercial working web development experience

- Fluency in Javascript is a must, experience in Ruby or Python is a plus

- Ability to employ a structured approach to solving technical problems

- Strong passion for software quality, combined with agile delivery

- Strong attention to detail. Passion for pixel-perfection and apps craftsmanship

- User interface and interaction implementation experience using HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery

- Familiarity with modern web Javascript frameworks, AngularJS is preferred

- Familiarity with web services, API development or database development is a plus

- Server side development experience (Ruby on Rails, Django or NodeJS) is a plus

- Behavioral testing experience in Jasmine or Cucumber is a plus

- Experience of Test Driven Development would be advantageous

- Experience of working with a reputable Source Control Management (SCM) system
