If so, we are looking for you to join our Team as Premier Field Engineer – Exchange. Premier Field Engineer is providing proactive services to customers aiming to improve the overall health of their IT systems.

You will be working with customers supporting them on building, deploying, and optimizing large enterprise environments, driving customer health and strengthening Microsoft technology adoption.

We need individuals with passion for technology who:

• Have experience in working with internal and/or external customers

• Demonstrate strong communication skills; ability to develop strong customer relationships, gain trust and respect for the company

• Can drive support consulting engagements, write technical and non-technical communications and work effectively with customers remotely and on-site

Expertise required

• Technical degree or equivalent

• Work experience and 3-5 years experience in an Enterprise technical support environment

• Excellent written, oral and presentation skills

• Proficient English and German language skills

• Troubleshooting knowledge & skills

• MCTS / MCITP qualification desirable

• Good understanding of ITIL/Service Management

Technologies

Microsoft is looking for an experienced Premier Field Engineer to drive customer satisfaction, deployment, adoption and support of Microsoft's Messaging solutions using Exchange Server Enterprise technologies to assist in creating On-Premises, Hybrid or Cloud based implementations for EMEA customers.

The primary product focus and responsibility will pertain to support of Microsoft's Messaging technologies with specific emphasis in the following areas:

- Proven understanding of Microsoft Messaging Technologies with emphasis on Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, 2010, 2013 and 2016  

- Exchange Online with Office 365

- Hybrid Exchange Deployment: Configuration and Administration

- Proven understanding of following concepts: ActiveSync, AutoDiscover, DAG, RBAC, PowerShell, DLP, E-Discovery, OAB, EAC, Public Folders, Exchange client protocols, Exchange Server Roles, DNS, IIS, AD, SSO, Load Balancing, Server and Storage design, virtual platforms.

- Exchange Integration with Lync/Skype and SharePoint

- Outlook 2007-2016

- Windows Server (2008 or 2012)

The ideal candidate should have the ability to lead in-depth technology discussions, articulating the business value of Microsoft Messaging solutions and advising customers on the integration of complex infrastructures in high availability scenarios.

This individual must be able to drive support-consulting engagements, write technical communications and work effectively with our partners and customers to help make their infrastructure solutions successful.

This individual must also be able to listen for and recognize scenarios where the customer needs may require complimentary solutions and be able to partner with Premier and Sales to drive successful customer outcomes.
