Microsoft Services is looking for a strong technical resource to join our team as a Premier Field Engineer (PFE).
Responsibilities include: customer satisfaction, deployment, adoption and support of System Center Technologies.
You will be engaging with customers and partners building, deploying, operating and optimizing large complex enterprise environments.
The primary solution focus and responsibility will pertain to support of Microsoft's technologies with specific emphasis in the following areas:
Microsoft Configuration Manager 2012 and 2007
Microsoft Intune - Standalone and Hybrid Image Deployment and Maintenance, Patch Management, Software Distribution Good networking, SQL and IIS experience. Windows XP, 7, 8, 10 Security standard methodologies and implementation for Microsoft technologies.
You should have a strong aptitude to lead in-depth technology discussions, articulating the business value of Microsoft Platforms solutions and advising customers on the integration of complex infrastructures in a highly distributed environment. You are able to drive support-consulting engagements, write technical communications and work effectively with our partners and customers to help make their infrastructure solutions successful.
You also should be able to listen for and recognize scenarios where customer needs may require complimentary solutions and partner with Premier and Sales to drive successful customer outcomes.
Travel will be required up to 50% across the KSA.
Key Experience needed: Experience with large and complex environments.
Leadership in all aspects of the technical discussions by facilitating the customer's understanding of the product / solution through presentations, demonstrations, proof of concepts, deployments and solving problems and support. Demonstrated support throughout the product life cycle and developed / managed references through high quality technical and professional client and partner relationships ensuring customer happiness.
Confirmed understanding of comprehensive System Center solutions with experience and ability to drive high level discussion about overall implementation of Microsoft technologies. This includes a base understanding of all components in the System Center suite and how they complement each other.
Experience as an inventive problem-solver, using internal partner resources in assigned customers using CSS and Enterprise Services when required.
Foundational knowledge around management scenarios based in Azure, on premise or a combination of both.
Primary responsibilities include:
Providing on-site technical support solutions for customer service delivery and availability, while ensuring happiness with Microsoft products
Capable of providing field technical support presence for groups in the Microsoft Services organization, including but not limited to Premier Support, Microsoft Consulting Services, and Customer Support Teams.
Act as the primary onsite technical contact, providing customer visibility, advanced technical support and problem resolution for corporate customers, including issues raised to the highest levels of management.
Requirements and skills for this position include:
Deep technical understanding of Configuration Manager at a large enterprise level.
Understanding of Microsoft Intune.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications, analytical and presentation skills.
Ability to deliver presentations, discuss and array of Windows platform technologies and concepts with complementary products at a solutions level.
Understanding of complex security scenario's with experience implementing and recommending infrastructure solutions that meet industry standard methodologies for security in System Center.
Work on customer issues and work under pressure Capabilities to operate in a flexible team environment with minimal supervision.
Education/Certifications: A BA/BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering fields is preferred along with 3+ years of relevant experience.
MCSE Certification is a plus
