The Partner Cloud Intern will be responsible in driving through partner sales of Office 365 and Windows Azure by helping our partner ecosystem including ISVs and Distributors to understand, push and drive these two products as hero SKUs. This person must have full time availability and will be working both at Microsoft Offices and partner's offices.
The ideal candidate should be bilingual, have knowledge on Microsoft Platform technologies like Exchange, Sharepoint and Lync. Be a fast self-learner and adapt to fast changing situations. He /she should have good presentation and communication skills as this role requires to visit partners and help them understand and use Office 365 as their production platform. By the end of the 6 month internship, this candidate will learn how to sell, implement and use products and services like Office 365 and Windows Azure.
Internship may be extended for another 6 months if candidate meets established objectives.
Main Activities
Drive cloud Partner Reach and Frequency
o Managed and tele-managed partners penetration
o New program partners
o Recruit Born in the Cloud or Cloud Compete Partners
o Develop partners to become Cloud Deployment and/or Azure Circle Partner
Internal Use Rights
o Install Microsoft Cloud products and services at partners
Deliver readiness trainings:
o Cloud Workshops to Partner and Customers
o Support Planning technical bootcamps
o To Distributor trainings
Shadowing
o Support the PTS, SMB and PSE in country to drive through partner sales. Mainly through Open.
The Partner Cloud Intern's role within the Microsoft Cloud community is pivotal for driving the business impact of Office 365 and Azure among subsidiaries, partners and customers. He/she will report to the PCDM lead and support the planning, execution and results, aligned with AHQ priorities to drive SMB revenue, partner activation, partner recruitment and partner reach.
Key Business Partners are:
Strategic Managers (PCDM, PB&D Lead, PCMM SMB)
Partner Account Managers (PAM), eg, Distribution PAMs, VAR (Value Added Reseller) PAMs, Large Account Resellers (LAR) PAMs, Solution PAMs and Telesales Partner Account Managers (TPAM); Partner Territory Managers (PTMs),
Licensing Specialist
Partner Technical Specialist
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Requirements.
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, Electrical Engineering or related field
• Basic knowledge in the Microsoft Platform (Microsoft Certifications a Plus).
• May be a student in the final period of career, but must be available to work full time.
• Must be able to travel throughout the city and if required travel outside to secondary cities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as self-confidence
• Passion for driving results
• Spanish
• English
