The GBS (Global Business Support) located in Bucharest, provides high technical service and 3rd and 4th level support for Microsoft’s European Enterprise and Development customers.

Since the GBS (Global Business Support) is a continuous learning environment, we’ll make a significant investment in your technical and professional development, yet much of your growth will be self-directed. Moreover, you will be actively involved with mentoring, training and collaborating with other Engineers to make our team fast, stronger and smarter at handling critical issues for Microsoft customers.

JOB PROFILE

The successful candidate will work within a team of support engineers focused on resolving our customers’ technical issues. This requires scoping the customer’s expectations and collaborating with others to meet those expectations in the shortest possible time. This includes providing customers with reliable technical solutions and a consistently exceptional service experience. This involves reactive remote support, working with and collaborating with colleagues in the UK, India, and EMEA & US.

You will need to have:

Essential Experience

•Excellent written and spoken English

•Customer focus

•Great team player and sharing of best practice

•Excellent communication skills both spoken and written

•Able to work well under pressure and meet commitments

•Strong knowledge of Exchange Sever 2010 / 2007 and a background of working with 2000 or 2003 and related technologies e.g. Windows Server 2008 & 2003, IIS6 and IIS7

•Experience of supporting complex Exchange deployments and dealing with critical situations

•Knowledge of troubleshooting and analysis tools

•Have an understanding of Microsoft’s cloud offerings

Would be considered a plus:

•A good working knowledge of Exchange 2010 and integration of Exchange with 3rd party applications such as BlackBerry

•MCSE/MCSD/MCP certification
