Job description
Connected Digital Services is an Innovation team focussed on co-creating net new transformative solutions, services and products with Microsoft’s customers that leverages Digital. The team puts a great emphasis on consumer research and is forward looking in its endeavours. With a remit to extend our team and impact globally, we are looking for a new member to join our team who represents the millennial mindset.
Connected Digital Services is expected to deliver to Microsoft between 5 to 7 net new transformative solutions, services and products that have the potential to scale to a multi-million revenue pipeline. It is also expected to co-create industry recognized thought leadership with customers in the form of white papers, conference presentations and nomination to awards. It thus is one of the applied digital innovation engine’s available to Microsoft’s market facing and delivery teams to enable them to effectively make the market.
Responsibilities:
Revenue Track
- Conduct secondary research to highlight and gain insights on latest digital and cross industry trends
- Conduct primary research and envisioning workshops to identify and articulate latent market and customer needs
- Benefit laddering and value impact
- Create net new segmentation methodologies
- Create digital propositions and brand campaigns for latent needs and segments based on a millennial mindset
- Develop pitch presentation and prototypes for innovation conversations with clients
- Lead and execute a 6 week innovation design phase project
Thought Leadership Track
- Create and manage an internal digital campaign for CDS
- Create a millennial inspired external digital campaign that leverages snapchat, Vlogs, Youtube channel, AR & VR
- Document all our fail fast initiatives in learning notes
- Create case study collateral for our wins
- Write whitepapers on digital innovation
- Participate in conferences and seminars
