Your role :

As part of the Product Validation Manager team and working in close collaboration with the Validation Center team and Product Development teams, the successful candidate's main responsibilities will be to designing and optimizing the equipment and tooling required to perform the various tests.

Our validation center employs innovative and progressive methods and can count on a team of dedicated individuals. More than 800 physical tests and validations are carried out each year, ensuring that our customers receive reliable, at the cutting edge of technology.

We need you for:

·  Design tooling for new products and test equipment;
·  Propose different concepts to our customers and take charge of initial and ongoing design review sessions;
·  Select, model and assemble the various components of our equipment and tooling;
·  Produce detail drawings, including manufacturing tolerances, as well as complete assembly and installation drawings;
·  Prepare the complete schedule for the projects entrusted to him/her, and control the budget allocated to him/her, as well as monitoring manufacturing and compliance with our suppliers' requirements;
·  Write technical manuals for our equipment and tools, and ensure the start-up and troubleshooting of assemblies during initial tests.

What do you need to possess for being successful?

·  You have a college diploma in mechanical engineering;
·  You have a minimum of 3 years' experience in equipment and/or tool design;
·  You have knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, machining techniques and instrumentation and controls;
·  You are familiar with SolidWorks 3D design software and Office 2010;
·  You are at ease in a bilingual environment (French and English), so that you can communicate both orally and in writing with your colleagues and our international partners;
·  You have a sense of planning, rigour, autonomy, initiative and creativity;
·  You have a sense of ownership of the projects assigned to you;
·  You can maintain good interpersonal relations, with tact, courtesy and discretion.
