KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

Mission

In a Dynamic and Agile Domain, the Splunk Developer provides a high level of expertise in the development of Splunk dashboards to increase efficiency of the overall Solution and gives a proactive
approach towards problem areas.

• Improve Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and Quality of Service for BS/ES services
• Monitoring dashboard must provide a simple overview of the health of the applications and business processes and trigger any relevant event management.
• Provide technical expertise and coaching on monitoring tools.
• Contribute or lead the design of complex dashboards
• Contribute to the Operability Initiative and help to make Splunk Requirements Dev Ready.
• Provides support and advice to the Support Analysts and business regarding monitoring and automation
• Participates in monitoring and event management continuous improvement
• May contribute to the implementation of new IS solutions or new releases

Main Activities
• Development activities:
• Analyze requests and contribute to prioritization in critical situations, with user’s representatives
• Deals with request or escalates to specialists if needed
• Look to optimize and standardize the System
• Produce documentation relative to his contribution to the monitoring tools
• Continuous improvement
• Suggests improvements to the existing dashboards and the relative process
• For each major incident or crisis, close the loop with support teams to improve or update relevant dashboards and events.
• Monitor the usage of dashboard with the relevant KPI.
• Identify with support teams the unused dashboards and perform a clean-up or an update if information is missing on the dashboard.

 Skills
• Should have atleast 3+ Years of Experience in Design and Developing Splunk Dashboards and Alerts.
• Should have worked on creating Dashboards connecting Multiple ERPs or Systems within organization
• Should have worked in Agile Framework for Splunk Requirements.
• Any other technology (Java, Databricks, ETL, Datapower) will be added advantage .
