Reliability TEC Sector Manager (Experienced)

THIS OPEN POSITION IS LOCATED ONLY AT THE FOLLOWING
LOCATIONS: ASHEBORO
The person in this position will be responsible for and lead a team of ~10 to 20 maintenance personnel in an area of the facility. They will ensure the availability and durability of equipment in their sector while optimizing maintenance costs and energy in a continuous improvement approach. This is to allow operations to achieve its goals of safety, quality, cost and production.
Expected Achievements
· Safety requirements are prioritized and ensured at all times (personnel and equipment)
· The maintenance strategy is applied to equipment criticality
· Maintenance plans are implemented, to include effective reaction to breakdowns and proactive work on machinery to improve control of the process (reliability).
· Effectiveness of machine interventions is continuously optimized (The analysis of maintenance results is ensured and implementation of necessary actions to ensure continuous progress over short and medium term horizons)
· Maintenance cost is optimized: operational efficiency, energy and spare parts consumption
· The reliability of equipment is ensured, in particular by taking care of obsolescence cases
· Resources are adapted (competency and quantity), training and succession plans are created and carried out
Prerequisites
· 3-5 years prior maintenance management experience is a plus
· Proven leadership of teams, have examples of the ability to facilitate progress
· Technical degree is a plus
· Knowledge of the steps and approach to better machine reliability
· Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment
· Proven record of development of people through coaching and mentoring and establishment of development plans
