      We are looking for a Reliability Engineer to be part of the Michelin Lanka Reliability team. You will be a member of a dynamic team who are versatile with modern Reliability Technologies in the world.  If you have a passion for, get hands on experience with latest PdM Technologies and Instruments at a state-of-the-art Technological Center.

Your purpose.,

       Under general supervision, responsible for measuring and analyzing the reliability of the machinery / equipment, data collection /analysis /retention. Implementing, sustaining reliability improvement projects by using comprehensive and professional Reliability analytical tools.  Expertise in Reliability Analysis to guide the PdM function in all plants, Sri Lanka

Your capabilities should be.,

* Ensure reliability by implementing & sustaining of the Predictive maintenance (PdM) programmes and strategies as practiced and established by the organization set standards such as safety, Reliability Centered Maintenance, energy and quality (ISO compliance).

*Relevance of Expertise in Vibration Data Analysis/ Vibration Spectrum Analysis, Troubleshooting & In-situ balancing of Rotating Machineries and advice other Reliability Specialists.

*Establish and Measure reliability necessities of new products and materials.

*Advice engineering team on purchasing new machines and equipment in accordance with the set standards.

*Advise design engineering team on selection of materials. Also recommend changes in the selection and application of production components. 

*Advise engineering team on installing and commissioning of machines with Precision Maintenance strategies.  

*Liaise with Consultants and Experts Local and Foreign for specific RCM projects. 

*Implement Lubrication Program Development with relevant parties (Noria Corporation and Council for Machinery Lubrication (USA)) Schedule and manage routes and jobs of PdM technicians at CED as per the plant requirement.    *Coach and mentor PdM Technicians, Technicians and assist them.  Perform any other responsibility as assigned by the management.

*Develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operations. *Professionally and systematically define, design, develop, monitor and optimize the Maintenance Program of plants. Perform Reliability analysis techniques of data to increase Asset Reliability. ( Reliability Index, PM effectiveness, SPC, Weibull Analysis, Six Sigma.. etc) Work with project engineering to adhere the life cycle asset management (LCAM) process throughout the entire life cycle of new assets.

*Conduct all the trainings for PdM technicians and Engineering Mechanics- Lubrication in house with practical demonstrations.

*Perform as Subject Matter Expert in Vibration Data Analysis/ Vibration Spectrum Analysis, Troubleshooting & In-situ balancing of Rotating Machineries  and advice other Reliability Specialists.

*Perform any other responsibility as assigned by the management.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

·  BSc. Engineering Degree/ Higher National Diploma in Technology or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
·  3 - 5 years of experience in Reliability Engineering
·  Qualification in MLA1, MLT1, Vibration level II, Thermography level II will be an added advantage
·  Excellent communication skills in both English & Sinhala and good interpersonal relationship skills;
