THIS OPEN POSITION IS LOCATED ONLY AT THE FOLLOWING

LOCATIONS: JUNCTION CITY

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Progress Advisor will be responsible to lead progress initiatives and deployment of MMW (Michelin Manufacturing Way throughout the Junction City facility. They will be a key part of the current expansion by ensuring optimal performance of new machines and provide ideas on ways to increase production of current machines.

KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

· 
Provide Leadership / coaching / training to all levels and functions on the use and practice of Lean methodology (ex.EVSM, VSMs, Kaizens, 6 Sigma, etc.) tools

· 
Promote operations performance that constantly strives to eliminate waste, improve customer satisfaction, via the use of MMW methodologies

· 
Provide assistance and counseling as the need arises to ensure that the MMW best practices are deployed and sustained after implementation

· 
Influence adaptation of the MMW structure and maintain professional and technical knowledge through world class lean manufacturing benchmarking

· 
Improve different training documents, audits forms, and monitor MMW progression

· 
Define and implement the MMW Roadmap

· 
Support the operating plan to achieve plant and company goals

· 
Partner with functional leaders and site managers within the Business Line to assess current processes and identify process improvement opportunities

· 
Work closely with the Shop Managers, Supervisors, and sites to create a continuous improvement plan aligned on their operating plan and BU goals

· 
Plan and assist in the execution of various MMW workshop events targeted towards improving the operations

· 
Apply and supervise MMW methodologies to support the site on the MMW Roadmap

· 
Track, measure, and report progress on improvements using standard, established Key Performance Indicators

· 
Ensure that appropriate safety and ergonomic processes and methods are being applied

· 
Follow Company Policies and Procedures;

· 
Support the EMS, QMS & EH&S systems;

· 
Perform other duties and assignments as directed by management.
