The Opportunity

The Production Manager owns the collective performance of the facility. They ensure training and mentor personnel to answer developmental needs. They will have responsibility for meeting production, quality, and budget targets within the facility.

What You'll Do

·  Lead a team of 4 to 5 direct salaried and 200 to 250 indirect reports with in a manufacturing facility in a 24 hour/day, 7 day/week operation.
·  Establish and lead the day-to-day priorities of the process and employees.
·  Ensure safety, production and quality goals are met per the plant business plan.
·  Establish and lead the cost control budget for area equipment.
·  Mentor team and promote employee development and work responsibilities.
·  Demonstrate rigorous drive for continuous improvements in safety, production, compliance, maintenance, housekeeping, employee development/mentorship.
·  Provide team communication on company, plant, and department business plan objectives and performance.

What You'll Bring

·  A BS degree or confirmed experience within industry.
·  Atleast 3 to 12 years of increasing management responsibility in a manufacturing environment.
·  Demonstrated leadership presence and maturity.
·  Ability to learn quickly.
·  Impeccable judgment and ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, multifaceted setting.
·  Analytical problem-solving skills with an outstanding attention to detail.
·  Strategic vision with the ability to implement.
·  Strong leadership skills with the ability to empower and influence others positively.
·  Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to relate with people throughout all levels of the company.
·  Great organizational change skills.
