Your role :
As part of the Product Development Manager - Tracks, Construction and Defense Mobility team, the successful candidate will be involved in new product development and technological innovation (new range of track, new product construction, new material type, new process, new application, etc.) for tracked vehicles for the construction and defense markets.
We need you for:
· Develop new products to meet market requirements and the demands of internal and external customers;
· Support efforts to resolve current product issues with internal and external customers;
· Ensure project management and coordination of requested deliverables and define technical specifications for material developments in compliance with quality criterias;
· Plan validations and tests based on identified failure modes (DFMEA, DVP&R);
· Work in collaboration with the compounding, purchasing, and marketing teams to achieve objectives and support the production plant (USA) in its technical compliance requirements for components used on current products.
What do you need to possess for being successful?
· You have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and more than 3 years' relevant experience in product development;
· You are a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or in the process of becoming one;
· You can handle several projects and priorities simultaneously;
· You are autonomous, naturally curious, and interested in learning new things;
· You are at ease in a bilingual environment (French and English), so you can communicate orally and in writing with your colleagues and our international partners;
· You are willing to travel outside the country when necessary, approximately 10% of the time (mainly in the United States and Europe).
