Your role :
As part of the Product Validation Manager team and working in close collaboration with the Validation Center team and Product Development teams, the successful candidate's main responsibilities the technical planning and follow-up of assigned tests.
Our validation center employs innovative and progressive methods and can count on a team of dedicated individuals. More than 800 physical tests and validations are carried out each year, ensuring that our customers receive reliable, at the cutting edge of technology.
We need you for:
· Conduct test initiation meetings with requesters and participate in design reviews for assigned tests;
· Document tests in detail using the appropriate forms and follow established test procedures, improving them where necessary;
· Follow-up with customers as agreed on tests, and pre-analyze results before official publication;
· Produce accurate and complete reports according to established standards, and present test results to customers within prescribed deadlines;
· Participate in the implementation of best practices in product validation.
What do you need to possess for being successful?
· You have a college diploma in mechanical engineering or related studies;
· You have a minimum of 2 years' experience in an industrial environment;
· You have a good knowledge of the Office suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint essential and Project an asset);
· You are at ease in a bilingual environment (French and English), so you can communicate both orally and in writing with your colleagues and our international partners;
· You have a good analytical mind as well as a critical spirit and scientific method (able to question a concept or a way of doing things with tact and rigor);
· You have a sense of planning, autonomy and project ownership;
· You are a team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a customer service environment.
