Your role:

 

As part of the Tracks Development Manager team, the selected candidate will work with engineers and technical experts to carry out CAD design, document management and manufacturing follow-up in order to produce the tooling required for product manufacture.

In addition, provide technical support to related departments such as the manufacturing plants and purchasing department, through technical exchanges in connection with the CAD models produced.

 

We need you for.:

·         Generate 3D solid and/or surface models using CAD programs, Creo, etc.

·         Draw up models for manufacturing.

·         Support engineering changes.

·         Maintain standards in the CAD model and drawing lifecycle process via PLM Windchill.

·         Participate in factory integration of new products and/or tooling.

·         Follow-up with suppliers to ensure equipment compliance.

·         Support the production plant with their existing equipment.

·         Collaborate with engineers, technicians and other professionals to improve products.

·         Apply design standards and norms to products under development.

·         Assist the purchasing team with supplier communications concerning technical drawings.

·         Participate in the development of tooling to ensure compliance with product requirements.

 

What do you need to possess for being successful?

·         You have a college or vocational diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent engineering experience.

·         You have 3 to 5 years' experience in mechanical design in a 3D environment.

·         You are at ease in a bilingual environment (French and English), so you can communicate both orally and in writing with your colleagues and our international partners;

·         You are available for occasional travel within our operations (up to 10%).

·         Experience in rubber processing would be an asset.

·         You have a creative and inventive mind.

·         You have an interest in motorized sports such as snowmobiling or quad biking.

·         You like to be involved and participate in decision-making.
