MISSION :
The Electronics Shop Technician serves as a technical expert for site electronic and automated systems. They support the plant maintenance sector shops in troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance activities on site electrical/electronics and automated systems of industrial equipment and IS systems used to support operational activities.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
· Maintain the Electronics shop test and repair equipment.
· Perform Power On PMs and MCE Tests as needed and required.
· Perform repairs on electronic parts and equipment for the plant;
· Serve as L2/L3 technical support for all shops on the various intelligent process controls systems – PLCs, Drives, Network, visual verification, PC etc…
· Support projects to upgrade obsolete controls systems by helping install new components, program, startup and debug those upgraded systems.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Competent in troubleshooting Electrical controls, PLCs, Drives, Communications (RS232, RS495, ControlNet, Device Net and Ethernet systems.
DESIRED:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, BIBDOC, and Office 365
· Starting pay is $31.53
· Rotating Shifts required. There is a shift premium for rotating

· Minimum of 2-3 years of related experience
· Or similar training receive while serving in the Military
