MISSION :
With a good knowledge of their field, the Data Analyst Level 1 (also sometimes referred to as data miner) is responsible for collecting, analyzing and exploiting available and relevant data to improve activities steering and identify levers for creating value for the company.
KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENT
• Relevant Data to meet customer need are identified, captured and selected
• Time and resources/tools needed to govern and analyze data are optimized
• Data are analyzed and shared in an accessible format to all through data visualizations
• Business activities have the action recommendations they need to build value
• Company offers, services or processes are optimized through knowledge gained through data analysis and valuation
• Group prescriptions on ethics and data governance are enforced and respected
Data extraction, structuration and valuation
• Identifies and understands issues the company/entity/business is facing and relevant data sources for its scope
• prioritizes needs with the stakeholders
• Identifies or acquires data needed to meet a simple business need
• Collects, selects and validates data relevant to the analysis
• Analysis and valorizes, with the help of a Data Scientist, heterogeneous, possibly unstructured, data masses to extract useful knowledge for the optimization of the company’s offers, services or processes and to obtain reliable results
Communication and decision support
• Extract and translate business data into statistical data
• Analyzes results, identifies trends and/or ideas for action and makes recommendations based on the analysis of data collected
• Provides its entity with decision-making statistical levers for the conduct and analysis of action campaigns
• Popularize and present results to decision makers in a format that is accessible to all through data visualization tools
Data Quality, Ethics and Security
• Applies Group standards for data security, quality and confidentiality throughout their lifecycle and processing
• Tests, monitors database quality and consistency and ensures regular updates
• Ensures protection and integrity of information on its perimeter
• Meets ethical rules in the use of data
Market Watch
• Ensures the sharing of good practices (internally and externally)
