Michelin is hiring! We are looking for a top pilot with a passion for flying to be a part of our corporate aviation team.
Overview:
The mission of the Corporate Aviation Captain/Pilot is to provide Michelin employee’s safe, time-saving, and productive on-demand travel. The Pilot is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the company aircraft(s) as well as managing other aspects of flight operations as the final authority assigned to a flight.

What you'll do:
Act as pilot in command of their scheduled flight. Prepare and file flight plans both domestic and international, using all available resources and aircraft capabilities for maximum efficiency.
Fly safely, which involves continuous management of all systems and situations that affect the flight while maintaining passenger comfort, safety, and well-being.
Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, Local and foreign regulations. Follow SOPs, effective crew resource management, communication and procedures specified in the company operation manual.
Plan flights with consideration of weather, NOTAMS, aircraft capabilities, mission requirements, company requirements and aircraft airworthiness ensuring that preflight inspections are performed, and all required documents are on board.
Calculate the aircraft weight and balance, performance and fuel requirements while being mindful of fuel pricing and landing fees.
Be proficient and have the ability to make adjustments to flight schedules and passenger profiles applying PFM Flight Management System (flight management software).
Align with customs, immigration and cabotage laws on international trips.
Complete all post flight duties including post flight inspection, maintenance reports and company record-keeping forms.
Ensure that the aircraft is clean and prepared for flight with provisions on board for the safety and comfort of the passengers. Brief passengers according to company and FAA requirements. Ensure the passengers needs and expectations are met throughout the flight.
Assist the Flight Department Manager with various ancillary duties, projects and studies as assigned. Lifting and/or bending as required for servicing flights.
Travel by air and overnight, as required, available for flight duty on flexible notice. Ability to complete Periodic flight trainings.
What you'll bring:
Broad knowledge of all functions related to aircraft operations.
Knowledge of advanced aircraft systems and avionics.
Knowledge, understanding and appreciation for Safety Management System processes, including Risk Analysis and Mitigation, Human Factors and Accident/Incident Prevention FAA Airline Transport Rating (ATP) with airplane multi-engine land and instrument ratings.
Working familiarity with the civilian Air Traffic Control system in high density airspace.
Interpersonal skills and flexibility to be successful in a small team environment (6 pilots).
Engaged and determined on business related objectives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
5000 Total hours of flight experience, 1000 hours in jet-powered aircraft and 2000 hours PIC in multi-engine aircraft
Experience in Multi-crew environment (2 pilots)
Experience in Crew Resource Management (CRM) – working in 2 pilot setting.
Familiarity with FAA FAR Part 91 and ICAO Annexes
Must have a Valid U.S. Passport and the ability to travel with no restrictions.
Must hold an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
Qualified for FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate
International flight experience into Canada & Mexico
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, iPad and related software applications; including mobile technology applications
