2nd Shift - Grit Blast Operator - Starting Pay Wage $23.70/hr

Michelin has immediate opening for a Grit Blast Operator . This is a full-time position. Working days and hours would be primarily Monday through Friday, 3pm – 1130pm.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

·  Experience with a fork truck & walk behind would be preferred.
·  Basic job functions:
·  Operate Robotic Grit Blast.
·  Operate Walk Behind and Sit Down fork truck as needed.  
·  Complete masking parts for paint after grit blast operation is complete.
·  5S in MGB/RGB areas.
·  Other Requirements & Experience

Education & Experience:  

·  Valid driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent.
·  Ability to follow standardized work and work instructions.
·  Complete individual work assignments within an assigned timeline.
·  Must have an excellent ability to work with others and communicate effectively.
·  Must be able to work within a team and take direction from other team members.
·  Overtime will be required from time to time, and this may require weekends.
·  Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices.
·  Able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
·  Follow all safety and quality procedures.
·  Dependable, lift to 45 lbs. and work in a hot working environment and fast-paced environment.
