Rosscor/SES serve a variety of businesses and markets, making standard products in series of relative low value and big complex packages worth more than 10mln€. This expects total different approaches of handling resources, processes and people.

In the role of Operations Manager you will direct and manage all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, manufacturing engineering, quality, EHS, CBS, warehouse, Purchasing and other production related activities. You will control to meet agreed operating targets and ensure continued business growth.

The candidate will effectively develop the location in accordance with corporate strategy by managing resources, departments and synergies between the functional groups represented in the facilities.

Responsibilities:

- Develop, gain acceptance for and direct achievement of annual budgets and forecasts, through the Business Unit management teams and in liaison with other relevant functions as appropriate;

- Present appropriate proposals for investment to develop business opportunities. Control expenditure, when approved, and monitor returns to ensure that Capex project targets are achieved;

- Maintain optimum control of operations to ensure that production costs and efficiencies are equal to or improve on budgeted levels while maintaining or exceeding quality standards;

- Ensure that all legal and policy requirements are observed. Seek to identify and reduce potential risk and exposure. Maintain effective relationships with local and national HS&E bodies;

- Stimulate a continuous improvement culture within the Business Units to promote optimum business performance and customer service levels;

- Drive across the business corporate/ individual compliance with all Colfax Policies & Procedures.

- Master degree in Engineering/Business Management;

- Good financial understanding and budgeting;

- At least 5-10 years Manufacturing Management experience within a US based Industrial Multinational;

- Operations Management Experience;

- Proven track record with Lean, TPM or WCM;

- Proven track record of Change management;

- Excellent leadership and people management skills;

- Strong analytic skills, demonstrating sound judgement and decision making;

- Drives results and takes initiatives in achieving goals.
