Mi-Soul is the latest venture from the founders of Kiss FM and is a soulful music platform, broadcasting online through its website and smartphone apps from fully equipped studios based in the Stephen Lawrence Trust building in South East London. Over 55 DJs, the most experienced, credible and passionate in the industry, are presenting a wide range of ‘soulful’ music live 15 hours per day to an underserved audience aged 30-55.

We are looking for a Social Media Manager who will be responsible for growing listenership and website visits through effective use of all social media platforms, and managing our social media team which operates in a fun and inclusive environment. Other responsibilities include:
• Promoting Mi-Soul’s commercial activities on all platforms
• Developing effective marketing campaigns using social media
• Monitoring key metrics to identify trends to improve effectiveness of SM output
• Educating staff on the importance of SM as well as the implementation of new strategies and campaigns
• Communicating directly with listeners/followers

If you enjoy communicating though social media and are looking to apply your knowledge in a commercial environment, we are offering a 6 month internship, followed by the possibility of a full time position for the right person.

The role will expose you to strategic development across social media platforms, ranging from Facebook and Twitter to Instagram and Pinterest, curating all relevant content and team management. It will also enable you to develop an understanding of how a music broadcaster operates.
