Are you a student or recent graduate who is passionate about e-commerce, business and strategy? Do you have an excellent academic track record with a degree in (or currently studying) Business, Mathematics, Business Development, Entrepreneurship, Statistics, Marketing or another relevant discipline? Are you interested in joining a leading and fast-growing e-commerce company?

We require exceptional Interns with Business or analysis-focussed degrees to work within our Business function (Marketing and Sales), Mhstar UK LTD, offering a comprehensive catalogue of garden, Pet, Office, Home, Sports and toy products that we offer on our online sales platforms. We’ve grown rapidly in the UK, France, Germany, USA, Spain, Canada, and Italy over the last few years

What you’ll be doing...

Don’t expect to be making cups of tea! You’ll be reporting directly to the marketing manger, and will be involved in a variety of Business Development tasks with a strong focus on working with data, providing analysis and recommendations. You might be looking at our product reviews, benchmarking, analysing traffic data, scoping out different market opportunities, researching the latest products, assisting with the development of our company strategy etc. The role will offer a mix of strategic and operational work, and offers a unique insight into the operations and development of a top e-commerce retailer.

Required Skills
We’re looking for bright, proactive individuals with a great flair for analysis and data. You’ll also be able to demonstrate:

• Strong academic record including 2:1 or higher (or equivalent) in a relevant degree
• Excellent analysis and problem solving skills – natural analytical thinker with numerical and data problem solving skills, skilled at analysing large quantities of data to reveal patterns, trends, and produce detailed statistical analyses
• Great business development, research, fact-finding and comparison skills – adept at seeking out information online and using a variety of sources
• Some work experience within a similar role would be highly advantageous
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels – full business fluency in written and spoken English is essential
• Confidence in presenting complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent time management, prioritisation and organisational skills
