Poste et missions:
BI AH Operations Department launched in October 2016 the wave 1 of the Maintenance transformation Program with 5 sites from different countries (US, UK, Italy and Brazil). The objective of the program was and still is to significantly improve the efficiency and the reliability of our equipment to mainly issue extra production capacity. Due to the positive impact of this wave 1 a second wave has been launched in December 2017 including sites in France and Puerto Rico. The Maintenance Transformation Program now involves 9 sites.
The BI AH operations management has decided to pursue this initiative in Pirbright by keeping the initial objective of increasing the productivity and also extending the scope of improvement projects within the maintenance department.
We would like to assign a VIE to pursue the Maintenance Transformation Program. This assignment can be a « door opener » for pursuing your career within BI AH Industrial operations.
The missions on site will be driven by the Maintenance Transformation Program Pillars:
1. Optimize planned shutdowns
2. Reinforce the ownership of production teams on their equipments
3. Increase autonomy and efficiency of maintenance teams
Thanks to previous maintenance organization and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) assessments the site is currently following a master plan. The major improvement opportunities and areas to focus on site are the shutdowns and the maintenance stores improvement.
By keeping the focus on the projects already started the VIE will be able to update the site’s master plan with new improvement opportunities.
The VIE will be coached by the Site Maintenance manager and will work with several departments due to transversal projects. There will be a support from a BI Global Team and also from the BI Maintenance Network gathering about 10 sites of BI AH.
One key factor for success will be the candidate’s ability to get integrated to the site teams, to be autonomous and to bring proposals.
Profil:
Master Degree in Industrial Engineering
First trainee experience on an industrial or logistics site
SAP and Scheduling knowledge can bring added value for the Job
Strong ability to get integrated in a new team, in a different country
Very good interpersonal skills, ability to interact with different levels in the organization (from the production operator to Site Leadership Team)
Ability to work with general guidance only and be autonomous on a daily basis
