About the Role:
Mercer is seeking an experienced Unit Pricing Analyst to join their Finance Operations team in Melbourne. As part of the team that ensures all pricing is completed and investments are reconciled without error for Mercer's key clients, you will assume responsibility for the following:
· Daily unit pricing calculations
· Checking NAV calculations with comparison to benchmarks and investigating differences.
· Monitoring investment trades
· Maintain and update internal procedure documents
· Complete incident reports and remediation as required
· Analysis of actual v. expected investment returns
· Investigation of variances and exceptions
· Processing monthly and quarterly distributions
· Maintain unit pricing system – portfolio set-up etc.
· Project work – continuous improvement, new client transitions
Requirements:
· A degree in Commerce or a related discipline
· Previous experience in a unit pricing role is essential
· Experience with Garradin Portfolio preferred but not essential
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· A methodical working style with an attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
· Advanced numerical, reconciliation and problem solving skills
· Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills; exposure to Garradin is preferred
