Job description

We want to internationalize our successful German business to a European level and therefore we are looking for an International Recruiter (m/f) for our office in Munich.

Your tasks:

• You are in charge of strategic and operative HR projects on an international level with an emphasize on the needs of a specified area
• You convince and recruit the most promising candidates in our target markets to join our successful venture up to MD level
• You are responsible for the entire recruitment process, starting from the announcements of job ads to the on-boarding process of new employees including job and Skype interviews
• You are responsible for HR projects as well as conceptual topics
• You advise and support executives regarding HR matters and act competent, trustworthy, discreet as well as reliable
• You develop employer branding activities and represent our company on job fairs at Universities or other recruitment events throughout Europe

Your profile:

• Excellent degree in economics, (business) law or social sciences with a focus on HR
• You have made first experiences in international recruitment and HRM, ideally in start-ups or a dynamic company (strategy consulting, digital business, etc.)
• Activities outside your academic background show us that you are ready to take the responsibility and to work internationally
• You speak fluent English and - German, as well as any other European language is a plus
• Your work style is proactive, you are committed, team oriented and follow an accurate and structured way of thinking
• You are highly motivated, assertive and passionate about achieving your goals

Gemeinsam mit mittelständischen Buspartnern betreiben wir mittlerweile eines der größten Fernbusnetze Europas. Mit über 10.000 Verbindungen in 15 Länder bieten die grünen Fernbusse zeitgemäßes, bequemes und nachhaltiges Reisen zum besten Preis. Unser Ziel ist das weitere Wachstum zu einem internationalen Unternehmen und die Etablierung eines europaweiten Fernbusnetzes unter dem Motto „Fahr grün!“

Gründung:

Die Idee zu FlixBus entstand in der Münchner „Newsbar“. Unsere Gründer Jochen, André und Daniel wollten etwas Eigenes aufziehen und hatten im Koalitionsvertrag gelesen, dass der Fernlinienverkehr liberalisiert werden soll. Das war für sie die einmalige Chance, einen völlig neuen Markt aufzubauen. Daniel kommt aus dem IT-Bereich, André Schwämmlein und Jochen Engert aus der Strategieberatung.

Das Thema „Fernbus“ fanden alle drei von Anfang an extrem spannend. 2011 begann dann die Suche nach Investoren und qualifizierten Partnern - bis zum Fall des Bahnmonopols musste aber noch knapp zwei Jahre gewartet werden. Am 13. Februar 2013 starteten die FlixBusse schließlich auf drei Linien und als erster Anbieter unter der neuen Gesetzgebung, Im Januar 2015 haben wir uns mit den Berliner Kollegen von MeinFernbus zusammengeschlossen. Gemeinsam geht’s jetzt als ein großer Anbieter weiter nach Europa.

Umwelt:

Schon jetzt basiert unser Konzept auf der Etablierung einer umweltfreundlichen Alternative zum Individualverkehr und auch innerhalb des Unternehmens steht das Thema Nachhaltigkeit im Fokus

Neben der Tatsache, dass der Fernbus aufgrund seiner Effizienz eines der klimafreundlichsten Reisemittel ist, haben unser Fahrgäste in Zusammenarbeit mit atmosfair die Möglichkeit, die Klimabelastung ihrer Reise bei uns auszugleichen. Der freiwillige Umweltbeitrag bei der Online-Buchung wird im Zuge dieser Zusammenarbeit in ein zertifiziertes Klimaschutzprojekt investiert, welches die Menge der auf der Fahrt entstehenden CO2-Emissionen kompensiert. Unsere Tickets können anschließend papierlos per QR Code validiert werden.
