Internship Plymouth (Hennepin County) Logistics
Job description
The Supply Chain Intern will assist with daily procurement/supply chain processes. The Supply Chain Intern will also be directed on projects that will assist in resolving challenges in current processes and drive improvements using LEAN principals.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Place and confirm Purchase Requisitions/Orders (MAX/One Source)
Update Vendor Master with current Shipping Mode and Payment Terms
Acquire and enter data changes for MHV/CRYP Plan For Ever Part
Assist in adding Suppliers to the ASL
Work with team to execute P Card Supplier Scrub and do a GAP analysis for additions to ASL
Resolve open issues with Accts Payable regarding GR/IR and outstanding invoices

Desired profile
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree – with a minimum of 2+ years of college completed
PPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous Supply Chain Experience
Previous Manufacturing and/or Medical Device Manufacturing experience
Previous Experience cutting and confirming Purchase Orders
Revising PO’s
Negotiating Pricing, Dates, and other terms with Suppliers
Interface with accounting to ensure accounts are up to date
Data Entry
Projects around Target setting and Reorder points
