OUR PURPOSE
Opportunities have arisen for recent graduates to be included in the Medtronic Galway Quality Function Graduate program. Successful candidates will be offered an 18 month contract. Successful candidates who meet the academic background outlined below will gain valuable experience in working in a progressive, industry leading, highly regulated Medical Device Company and will have ample opportunity to develop the breadth and depth of skills and competencies required to be successful in pursuing a career in this industry.

OUR OFFER
The QA function on the Medtronic Galway site is along all parts of the value stream and includes the following departments and candidates will get experience and exposure to one or more of these areas: Quality Operations assurance, Analytical Laboratory, Micro Laboratory, Sterilization, Process Validation, Receiving & Inspection, Supplier Quality management, Complaint handling, Product Testing and Release, Business Process Improvement, Product Research and Development and Product Design Assurance.

Desired profile

YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for a qualified person to a minimum Bachelor’s degree (Level 8 NFQ) in Engineering/Science or related discipline. We are looking for candidates with a working knowledge of Microsoft applications. Experience with good documentation practices would be an advantage, but not essential. We are looking for a dynamic team player who can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams. Candidates must be able to think critically and make sound decisions. Candidates must be focused on patient safety and customer service, set high standards, instils operational excellence, drive accountability and model ethical behavior. Candidates must be a good communicator and are fluent in English, both in writing and speaking.
