POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Manufacturing Training Coordinator (MTC) reports to the Training Supervisor and works closely with the Value Stream managers within the Danvers facility. This MTC has responsibility for coordinating all training for the Production Operators and maintaining all records associated with this training. They will work with their MTC colleagues to develop an effective and efficient training system for the Danvers Manufacturing site including preparation of material required to complete the training.
 
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES   
·  Work proactively with Value Stream managers and Training Supervisor to identify the area’s training needs and ensure compliance to Quality procedures.
·  Acquire and maintain familiarity with the critical operations and product usage to help improve processes and support training.
·  Retrieve documentation and ensure that all Production Employees are trained to current revision of all required documents. 
·  Provide guidance, feedback and direction to Line Trainers in their area of responsibility.
·  Delegate process training/re-training for employees to appropriate Line Trainers.
·  Ensure all specifications in use on the production floor are at the current revision.
·  Accurately maintain training records system (Saba, manual or other system as appropriate).
·  Compile manufacturing training metrics and scorecard.
·  Conduct periodic training-focused audits and Level 1 – 3 Training Evaluations including but not limited to the following:
·  Verify documentation is correct, current, available and easily retrievable
·  Check that operators are fully qualified and operating against current revision
·  Verify adequate line clearance is performed
·  Check that operators are following procedures correctly
·  Operators have sufficient understanding of processes
·  Conduct orientation of new manufacturing employees including but not limited to:
·  Product and defect awareness
·  Core Procedure Training/Training Matrix
·  Coordinate and/or deliver other training as needed including but not limited to: Line Trainer Certification, Quality Fundamentals, Packaging & Labeling, GMP Training, EH&S Training etc.
·  Solicit ideas for improved productivity and quality from operators and play an active role with supervisors and engineers to implement approved changes. Work with engineers to identify the need for and to write CO’s. Be flexible and adaptable regarding work location and schedule to meet business needs.
