As our Manufacturing Engineer , your Principle Accountabilities will involve :
· Resolve any technical problems that may affect production. Focus on day to day issues, line efficiency, quality issues and safety.
· Develop and implement improvements to existing processes
· Play a major role in implementing Lean Manufacturing within the plant.
· Be a key player in resolving yield issues (e.g. determining root cause, implementing corrective action and preventative action).
· Project manage product enhancements from design divisions.
· Ensure that all process documentation and manufacturing methods meet the requirements of our quality system and all the regulatory standards pertaining to the product
· Be the technical focus for all technical product issues emanating from customers, R&D divisions, sales and marketing, regulatory bodies and other functions within the site
As our Manufacturing Engineer your Skills & Qualifications will include :
Desired profile
Minimum requirements:
· Engineering Level 8 degree qualified with at least 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing engineering position
· Knowledge of FDA and ISO compliance
· Strong project management and communications skills
· Strong mechanical knowledge
Preferred requirements:
· Must be strong in both development and implementation skills
· Must have demonstrated technical creativity and innovation
· Must be capable of carrying out documentation related responsibilities as well as technical responsibilities
Other Skills:
· Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
· Experience in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma an advantage
· Strong personal initiative and strong interpersonal skills
· Self-motivated problem-solver
