Job description

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Performs dimensional/functional Inspections and tests samples per established sampling plans.  

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Follows and reviews documentation for adequacy/accuracy
•Participates in safety training
•Maintains good housekeeping by following 5S guidelines
•Makes suggestions to improve product and processes (I.E., Quality, Productivity, Etc)
•Sets up and organizes QC work stations
•Generates non-conforming material reports (NCR)
•Reviews device history records (DHR) and quality related documents for accuracy and completeness
•Other duties as assigned or required

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME 

REQUIRED EDUCATION:  
•High School Graduate 

REQUIRED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:  
•One year of experience in Quality Control in a regulated medical device environment (FDA, ISO, Etc.)

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: 
•Experience in using a variety of measuring and test equipment

DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and applicable Quality System Standards
•Ability to interpret blueprints
•Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing
