Job description

SUMMARY OF POSITION: Performs statistical and administrative functions for the distribution center and warehouse managers and supervisors. Proficient on personal computer and all office machinery. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Maintain a good working relationship both internally and externally. Backup for distribution

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Observe all safety precautions and regulations at all times in all areas where duties are performed. Responsible for reporting all safety hazards and potential unsafe working conditions.
• Understand and comply with all current plant policies and procedures.
• Facilitate the cycle-count process on a daily basis and maintain accurate inventory levels. Coordinate the annual physical inventory process.
• Research inventory discrepancies and make necessary inventory adjustments in an efficient and timely manner.
• Maintain minimal inventory variances to meet set objectives.
• Reconcile inventory on a daily basis and facilitate the transfer process.
• Track Finished Goods inventory monthly reporting on slow and nonmoving.
• Process Finish Goods Transfers and make the necessary adjustments in the reject and scrap process.
• Generate Merchandise Return Documents, perform the return confirmation process, and maintain Access Program Data Base.
• Process Damage and Destroy documents and make necessary inventory adjustments.
• Maintain Database for all Greenwood by performing computer system updates to product information. Updates to include item dimension maintenance, tier high information, product locations, and production cost.
• Enter all DC procedures into AGILE
• Follow established procedures to replenish corrugate demands by other Distribution Centers.
• Maintain accurate and complete inventory files to meet corporate guidelines.
• Facilitate and distribute weekly reporting of Error Tracking, and warehouse damage.
• Actively participate with teams to improve current working processes. (I.e. Process Improvement Team, Cost Savings Team, Plant/DC Safety Committee, etc.).
• Cross train to diversify knowledge of office functions.
• Perform and participate on internal audits for the Greenwood site.

Desired profile

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years warehouse experience
Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, As400, RF Applications.
Skills/Competencies: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Other Skills: Must be able to speak, read and write the English language
