Reporting to the HCP Marketing Director EMEA, you will provide leadership to the EMEA HCP Marketing Specialists to ensure that the design and implementation of HCP Marketing objectives are met across EMEA.

Main purpose of this role is to define, establish and execute the Diabetes EMEA HCPs marketing strategy and tactical plans in order to best contribute to the achievement of the annual business objectives for the full Diabetes products and services portfolio, working closely with the SFE team to drive proper execution through the salesforce channel

He/she provide leadership at Marketing EMEA department guiding HCP Marketing planning across the portfolio, within product launches, ensuring HCP market research activities and KOL Management.

Specifically, will drive a well framed account, physician and nurse segmentation thru EMEA to define customized value propositions per segment and ensure high customer preference and market share growth

He/she will collaborate closely with the different EMEA BUs Marketing as well as with Patient Marketing, Market Access and Commercial Development & VBHC and the Business Leaders on EMEA and on cluster/country level.

A Day in the Life

· Drive the development of marketing strategies for HCP segments.

· Leads the HCPs Marketing plan targeting substantial market share increases, including target definition and key insights, portfolio-level and product-level messaging and substantiating proof points, pricing strategy and competitive strengths, weaknesses and strategy, channel needs, unit volume and revenue forecasts. This plan will be dynamic, evolving as customer insight, competitor activity, and market dynamics warrant.

· Works closely with the SFE team to drive proper strategy execution through the salesforce channel.

· Collaborates closely with Business Leaders both on EMEA as well as Marketing on country/cluster level to determine when to adjust HCPs marketing strategy.

· Lead the EMEA HCP Marketing Specialists and will provide vision and focus working closely with Patient Marketing, Market Access and Commercial Development.

· Coordinates HCP Marketing, Communication and HCP initiatives at EMEA level as Congresses and other events where physicians and nurses are involved.

· Facilitate the implementation (and adaptation) of local marketing strategies and tactics, being example of execution standards and time and quality of implementation.

· Ensure local strategic plans are consistent with global business strategic plan by incorporating input from customers, global therapy and product marketing managers, Country business managers, training and education, clinical, and product development

· Maintain contact with Diabetes KOLs and develops high quality relations with other health care professionals through participation in physician organizations, conventions, sales calls and other customer contacts to better understand the market being able to maximize our regional ability to influence change

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

· MBA or other Post Grad Business qualification preferred

· BS/BA degree in marketing, economics, or biomedical engineering

· 7+ years with strong Marketing expertise developed in Marketing best practice environment

· 5+ years in a Multinational Corporation

· Proficient English, spoken and written

· Strategic thinker

· Strong proven leadership not only vs his/her team members but also vs sales force and agents/distributors

· Positive approach and strong cross functional attitude, team worker, easy to work with

· High resilience mindset, courage and risk taking + ability to see opportunities in difficulties and problems

· Strong drive for execution, “make things happen” attitude

· Demonstrated marketplace foresight and business acumen to position organization to compete for the future

· Proven ability to operate in a matrix environment and work effectively with sales management, physicians, other customer groups and across geographic and organizational boundaries. Able to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty

· Leadership qualities which clearly indicates effective management and motivation of other groups in a multi-cultural environment. Ability to inspire and influence through vision and results.

· Experienced in Digital Marketing.

· Proven ability of designing Marketing plans with high focus on ensuring its implementation.

· Proven track record to work independently, while achieving aggressive personal and geographic objectives.

· Highly motivated, strong drive to win and “can do” attitude

· Proven ability to effectively communicate (written or verbal) at all levels

· Proven track record of good business judgment and acumen

· Demonstrated integrity and respect of peers and subordinates

· Willingness to travel

Nice to Have

· MBA or other Post Grad Business qualification preferred

· Other European languages are a plus

· 5+ years with International Medical device industry experience, or pharma, or healthcare, a plus
