MSC UK prides itself on being the 'Employer of Choice’ within the shipping industry and we have an exciting opportunity for a Trade Administration Co-ordinator to join our Export Commercial team. The successful candidate will undertake all administrative tasks relating to contracts, specials, spot quotes and tariffs into the tariff management system. Ensuring bookings rated in accordance with the quotation agreed with the customer and that rate is validated for that booking. Working to deadlines and the policies set by Trade & Geneva. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, accuracy and knowledge of the MSCUK internal systems.

The key tasks for the Trade Administration Co-ordinator role are:
- Entering and maintaining the relevant rates into the Tariff Management System that will ensure bookings rated are in agreement with the customer and Trade.
- Determine, monitor and review that the system is capturing the correct rates, when rating the booking.
- Building relationships with Trade Assistants /bookings / documentation and accounts department, to ensure we capture all the correct charges and any outstanding matters are resolved immediately.
- Ensure we follow up with the Trade for Geneva rate approvals. Highlighting areas of concerns to the supervisor.
- Assist with customer registration into TMS together with input of new clients and contacts into Sales Link.
- Handle customer Invoice queries politely and ensure these are resolved within the KPI agreement.
- Process relevant files and documentation accordingly and as and when required.
- Assist other colleagues/teams as and when required
- Ensure bookings have validated rates and that we rate the file accurately and in line with the relevant procedures.
- Ensure any issues are escalated accordingly.
