As part of this mission, MMS GBS is supporting the international expansion of Deutsche Technikberatung — a 100% subsidiary of MediaMarktSaturn that has successfully established digital sales consultation as a key business in Germany. From our hub in Barcelona, our diverse teams help scale this proven, innovative service to new markets, shaping the future of digital sales for leading consumer electronics brands.
Your Profile
Mandatory: you are fluent in English (the office language) and have advanced skills in one of the following languages: French, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Turkish, Hungarian, Dutch.
· You are passionate about consumer electronics, up to date with the latest tech trends, and the go-to person for tech questions among friends and family.
· You bring proven sales expertise in the technology field—whether from retail, direct sales, or similar roles. Previous experience at MediaMarktSaturn or within the consumer electronics industry is a plus.
· You are tech-savvy and have solid knowledge and hands-on experience in one or more of the following product categories: White Goods (large household appliances), Brown Goods (entertainment and audio/video electronics), Grey/Small Goods (small domestic appliances), IT/Computing (computers, peripherals, and related devices), Mobile Devices (smartphones, wearables, and portable tech) and/or Smart Home (connected home technology and devices)
· You are open-minded, ambitious, possess strong sales skills, and are committed to delivering the best possible customer experience.
· You are comfortable with video calls and digital communication tools.
Your Responsibilities
· Communicate with MediaMarkt and Saturn customers using the latest chat, video, and co-browsing tools.
· Identify customer needs and help them find the ideal product by sharing your expertise and offering tailored solutions.
· Support customers with the initial setup and discovery of their new devices purchased through your advice.
· Share responsibility for reporting and analysis of project KPIs.
· Continuously develop your skills and contribute to training materials for yourself and your colleagues.
