Job description

MB Private Clients ( is a travel management consultancy with over 50 years’ experience providing all aspects of expertise and support relating to travel, visas and security.

This internship will be like no other opportunity and requires a candidate with the flexibility to adapt and take the initiative.
We have a varied clientele and a unique niche in the market enabling us to react and execute varying strategies in the travel, visa and security world.
We will not expect you to know all these areas – we have key processes we use to implement these roles and will make sure you are fully trained to execute each area.

**Key roles and learning will include the following:
i) Marketing
Key tasks to include:
- Daily social media – LinkedIn/Twitter
- Updating and maintaining the MB Private Clients Blog
- Helping to write our monthly Newsletter
- Learning how to edit simple areas of our website/content
- Assisting to build our marketing – brochures/presentations

ii) Business Development/Sales
Key tasks to include:
- Identifying key contacts to follow up
- Identifying new leads (lead generation/client liaison)
- Email/phone follow ups
- Creating strong relationships leading to further business

iii) Administration
Key tasks to include:
- Maintaining MB Private Clients database in Excel from business cards
- Adding new potential client details to Newsletter/database platform
- Emails/follow ups
- Answering calls appropriately when necessary and relevant

iv) Problem Solving / Consulting
Often we will consult internally on the best strategies to implement for clients relating to visa/passport and security business areas.
You will learn our unique approach and understand how we execute our strategies.

**Working Environment**
Our office is based right by Monument station close to Bank and London Bridge stations for easy train/tube connections.
We are currently a team of 7 looking to grow considerably in the next 2-3 years.
We have a spacious clean office on the same floor as Altour International, our Travel Partner.
Hotels/airlines/vendors regularly visit the office offering lots of treats, incentives for our staff which definitely adds to the working experience.
There is a professional and welcoming atmosphere at the office.

Seeked profile

**Skills Required:
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word) - any other computer skills welcome
- Interpersonal skills to liaise with high level clients and potential clients
- Presentable, ambitious and hard working with an eye for detail
- Proficient spoken and written English - any other languages welcome

The following expenses to be paid:
- Lunch & Travel
- However, allocation of agreed amount to be discussed and finalised before hire based on candidate abilities
Bonus payment after 3 months based on success of general roles.
Incentive commission paid from any direct contacts introduced that lead to future business.
After 3 months, salary to be assessed based on performance with a view to a more permanent role.
