Job description

Proof Reader: Do you have excellent English writing and reading skills, perhaps gained from working in editorial, journalism, teaching or marketing? A Proof reader is required to proof read both print and digital literature copy for a leading design, print and digital media company. Proof reading experience and exposure to copywriting is not required.

The Proof Reader will inspect spelling, grammar & punctuation, styles & guidelines are adhered to. The Proof Reader will also verify text, diagrams, images, page/column breaks and also making sure there is no confusing or inaccurate information present.

This innovative company specialises in providing marketing services to large on-trade Restaurant, Hotel, Pub Chains, Night Clubs, and Bowling chains etc. Clients include the Hard Rock café group. Based near Pontefract in West Yorkshire, the company is easily reached by train or car from Leeds, Wakefield, Sheffield, Barnsley or Pontefract.

- Excellent English writing and grammar skills
- Meticulous attention to details
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Exposure to Copywriting would be beneficial
