is the Dutch subsidiary of the MATIS Group, an international engineering consultancy in advanced technologies founded in 1994 in France. We intervene in high-added value projects for major industrial Groups.
In this position you contribute to the development of highly innovative new pushbelts. The Technical Project Leader is responsible for the initiation, leading and coordination of the technical product aspect within multidisciplinary development projects for and with customers. The TPL will lead the technical project team from “proof of principle” to a specific design which is ready for mass production.
The TPL is the pivot between the overall project manager, the technical team (predevelopment, product development, testing) and the customer, directly or through a customer window. The TPL assures the technological deep-dive within a project via “leading on content”, “Leading by question” or by working on engineering tasks himself/herself. The TPL has specific, in-depth knowledge and uses this to participate operational in the project team, using tools as DFMEA, DRBFM and 8D.
The TPL is responsible for the technical project planning, resources and budgetary control. He/she is responsible for the timely delivery of product specifications and documentation, reports on the progress and takes care of/reviews the technical reports within the project team and for the higher management. He/she manages passing of project milestones, product delivery and technical closure of projects. The TPL has an active and managing role within the projects and can motivate/inspire his team by using his/her emotional intelligence.
Profile:
- Completed university / hbo education, preferably in the field of mechanical engineering with a minimum relevant working experience of 1-2 years.
- Team player (excellent in cooperation)
- Cultural sensitivity and empathy regarding the intensive cooperation with foreign co-workers and customers.
- Knowledge of or sympathy for the Japanese/Asian culture is preferred because our major customers are from Japan / Asia.
- Excellent communicative skills (in word and writing, internal and external, in multicultural team) to manage on content and relationship.
- Analytical and structured way of thinking and working.
- Identify and acknowledge problems and activities.
- Meticulous and eager to learn.

- Experience with project management and planning tools.
- Experienced with MS-office and MS-project.
- Excellent English and Dutch language skills in word and writing, knowledge of German is appreciated.
