What have our recent graduates said about us?
Edward Evans (BSc Sports Development and Coaching Sciences , Bournemouth University)
Now working in our HTP department as a Recruitment Consultant
How did you find your recruitment experience with us upon joining the business? 'Really good, due to the flexibility of working around my dissertation and final projects. I was also very interested in the open day as it offered a less pressurised situation to find out more about the company and recruitment in general, whilst also allowing you to assess me.'
What do you like about working for the company? 'I'm impressed with the work ethos that surrounds the company, especially in my division. It's great being surrounded by people that want to work hard and succeed, but also have fun in the process. The benefits are great, and things like the summer party and Christmas dinner are brilliant.'
Rebecca Hepburn (BA Dance, University of Chichester)
Now working in our Property department Recruitment Consultant
What have you found difficult in your first 6months? 'Learning your industry is challenging (especially if you've come from a dance degree) but surprisingly you pick it up quickly. There is so much to learn in the first few months it seems daunting and impossible but once you begin to get the gist it becomes a lot more enjoyable.'
What attracted you to work for the Matchtech Group? 'The money, the environment and the clear progression routes.'
James Wong - (BA Business Studies, Portsmouth University)
Now working in our Property Recruitment Consultant
What do you enjoy most about the role? 'The atmosphere amongst the team is what I enjoy, along with the ability to directly affect my own earnings'
What would your advice be? 'Recommend that they really consider if they have the right motivations - want to make money, like talking to people, can take rejection easily, are able to think self- critically etc - before considering a role in recruitment, as you need to know you can do all these things to be very successful'
