Marsh has an exciting opportunity for a broking role to sit within our Cyber team based in Norwich.

Job Purpose

A broker role negotiating and placing Cyber Insurance for clients from any county around the world but with a focus on US and UK clients. There will be a requirement to develop new business opportunities with local Marsh offices. You would be dealing with the London market and Service Company Insurers from Norwich.

Key Tasks

·  Manage placement in accordance with appropriate timelines for clients
·  Request and analyse underwriting information
·  Prepare and submit market presentations in accordance with client instructions
·  Assist with the placement of risks by negotiating with insurers, optimising coverage and pricing
·  Collate market quotes from insurers and summarise for the producer/ direct client
·  Coordinate client acceptance and insurer bind confirmations
·  Produce MRC’s and/or request and check Insurer documentation
·  Provide support by broking mid term amendments
·  Will be responsible for handling their own renewals as well as developing new business opportunities
·  Assist with maintaining comprehensive accurate files and records including file notes of meetings, telephone notes and all other correspondence in accordance with Marsh’s procedures
·  Assist with developing insurer and producer relationships
·  Travel to London and elsewhere as required
·  Ad hoc administrative duties

Requirements

·  Insurance experience and understanding
·  Cyber Insurance knowledge advantageous
·  Experience gained in a professional / financial services office environment
·  Competent in Microsoft Office
·  Confident and articulate communicator both on the phone and in email correspondence
·  Strong administrative skills and experience
·  Keen to advance with CII qualification
