Job title: Renewals Negotiator

An exciting opportunity to join the Marsh & Parsons' Renewals department has arisen. We're looking for a proactive individual, who thrives on working in a fast-paced, competitive environment. Based at our Hammersmith Head Office, you'll be responsible for generating and renewing residential lettings contracts from our substantial existing portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise closely with front offices to gain knowledge of the changing markets which will be used as a negotiation tool with landlords.
  • Effectively build and maintain relationships with tenants and landlords to encourage repeat business.
  • Directly negotiate the contract renewal between tenant and landlord and mediate the discussion to add value to both parties and justify our fees.
  • Work closely with landlords to maximise their yield and provide a high quality service in terms of length of tenancy and amount of rent secured.
  • Maintain up to date notes of negotiations on the internal system to ensure that other teams are informed of deal progress.
  • Coordinate with accounts department to confirm any changes in rent.
  • Confirm any changes in rent to the client through letters and emails and ensure a quick turnaround.
  • Draw up an accurate Memorandum of Agreement to outline and secure the new terms that have been agreed.
  • Send out Memorandum of Agreement to both parties as soon as agreement is reached in order to secure the deal; chase outstanding paperwork until the deal is signed and completed.
