UK Manufacturing Apprentice - Mars Chocolate UK

Year 1: £14,930, rising to £22,171 by Year 4

·  Year 1: Kingston College
·  Year 2: 4 days shift based, Mars Choc UK, Slough | 1 day Kingston College
·  Year 3-4: Full time shift based, Mars Choc UK, Slough, Berkshire.

If you enjoy working with your hands and you’ve got a strong interest in manufacturing, this is an opportunity to make it mean a lot more.  Our manufacturing operations are mission-critical to driving the success of globally admired brands like Mars®, Snickers® and Twix® for a $33billion, family-owned company which also produces other iconic brands such as Uncle Ben’ s, Whiskas and Wrigley’s.  On a manufacturing apprenticeship with Mars, you’ll learn how to make those world-famous products and use our state-of-the-art machinery, whilst earning real money from day one. 

 

This scheme is one of many apprenticeships at Mars Chocolate UK; so you’ll be joining lots of other like-minded people.  During your apprenticeship, you’ll take part in training courses and team-building events, as well as being given real responsibility.  And, when it comes to an end, you could find yourself in a leading role in Operations.  Some of our apprentices have gone on to manage key pieces of equipment and one of them is now managing a team of Engineers.  So your future’s wide open. 

To rise to the challenge, you’ll need five GCSEs at A*-C, including English and either Maths or a Science.  Your flexible approach and interest in manufacturing are important and you’ll need to be a great team player and communicator, with real customer focus and the motivation to get results.
