Purpose of the Role

The Entry Level Associate functions as a member of an operating team and maintains the high standards of the organization while learning the working processes of the factory.  Once trained and qualified, this person should be able to demonstrate the ability to execute and follow-up on routine day-to-day production related tasks, take initiative to identify outages, losses, or improvements in their work areas and obtain resources to help resolve problems in a timely manner.  Day-to-day tasks do include basic computer skills as required for data entry, line operation and quality control data gathering.  This job requires strong communication, interpersonal and team building skills to support factory objectives.

Physical Qualifications

·  Standing on a concrete floor
·  Wearing proper personal protective equipment (bump cap, ear plugs, safety shoes, uniform)
·  Bending, Stooping, twist, turn, standing for extended periods, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting up to 55 lbs.
·  Must be able to adapt to temperature and environmental extremes such as hot to cold, dust dirt and chemicals.

Minimum Qualifications

·  18 years of age or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
·  Willing and able to work and accept varying shifts and schedules
·  Ability to understand and effectively communicate in the English language.
·  Ability to meet/maintain the Site’s Essential Job Functions  

Preferred Qualifications

·  Background in feed manufacturing environment and operations

Demonstrated competency in computer and pc software including MS Office and email
