Let your tomorrow start today: your job as a supply chain coordinator

Customer performance is of the greatest importance to us. As a supply chain coordinator, or as we like to call it, Trade Logistics Coordinator, you’ll act as the first point of contact for our customers on logistic topics, collaborating closely with them on projects, order profiles, order flow and set-up.

You’ll be responsible for:

·  Customer performance : you’ll conduct logistic performance reviews with our customer industry leaders twice a year, analyse the results of the reviews and translate these into action point. It’s up to you create long-term partnerships with our customers.
·  Continuous service improvement : you’ll constantly improve the service we offer our customers and optimise the business processes within Customer Services.
·  Order processing : you’ll make sure customer orders are processed and tracked successfully.
·  Team targets & annual business performances : you’ll actively contribute to the team targets and work closely together with other departments, including Sales, to optimise our business performances.
·  Maintaining business knowledge : you’ll document local process specifics, ensuring obtained knowledge is captured and retained.

In this role, it’s all about communication

You’ll communicate on a daily basis with customers and colleagues from different Mars-departments, including Account Managers, Demand Planning, logistics service providers, and other internal and external stakeholders. Anyone can talk and listen, but only a communication expert can make communication an art. That’s why we’re looking for someone who knows how to talk to others effectively and can’t wait to develop long-term partnerships with our customers.

Professional qualifications to execute this job perfectly

·  A higher vocational education in logistics or business studies
·  2 years of experience in customer services, logistics, supply chain or a FMCG environment
·  A passion for supply chain processes, customer-focus and customer performance
·  Knowledge of different supply chain systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
·  Fluency in English and Dutch, another language is beneficial
