Job Summary

The SRM SFA (this role) reports to the SRM Head serving as a key business co-pilot for Sales and is an integral member of the local SRM team. This analyst role helps deliver profitable category & profit growth with customers and will work with KAMs to evaluate and optimize trade investment and ensure trade investment productivity. This role will also work with Sales business planning team to as part of the annual planning process to provide trade and profitability insights. Robust financial analytics will be an integral part of this role as the main support behind Customer profitability and Pricing initiatives.

Key Accountabilities

Sales Financial Co-Pilot:

·  Provides dedicated financial support for specified Sales customer group
·  Responsibility over trade management, reporting and forecasting for designated customer group
·  Conducts quarterly Trade reviews with Sales team to ensure budget controls and compliance, monitoring for risks and opportunities
·  Drives analysis and insights on customer promotional a trade spend effectiveness and post promotional reviews
·  Delivers insights into customer profitability and recommended actions to drive improvement through promotional pricing and product mix to drive internal profitability
·  Period end close activities as related to trade spend

Sales Business Planning Support:

·  Provide trade and profitability support to business planning through annual joint business planning processes
·  Provide customer investment inputs to Sales business planning manager as part of Annual Budget planning

Customer profitability analysis:

·  Provide Customer profitability insights to Pet Nutrition on a quarterly basis highlighting areas of risk and opportunity
·  Provide the organization with periodic NSV reporting

Pricing:

·  Support the Sales Strategy in evaluating and creating recommendations on long term portfolio pricing strategy for the market by creating robust fact bases on brand/pack/channel pricing dynamics.
·  Support any annual cost price increase execution by:
·  Supporting system changes (where appropriate)
·  Creating appropriate reporting and analysis to understand impact of changes on the market as well as returns versus business case/assumptions.

Other:

·  Sales systems (CAS) support as required
·  Period close support as required
·  All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
