Overview

The Specification Data Coordinator is responsible for processing specification data that supports product creation within the defined R&D guidelines. The role is responsible for data integrity and adherence to the established R&D guidelines for Mars Wrigley Confectionary unit.

Key Responsibilities
- This role is accountable to input, modify and submit specifications data through the designed specification tools/systems.
- Ensures proper adherence to the established process within the agreed targets and within the agreed service level agreements.
- Maintains and ensures the accuracy of the data within the designated tools/systems.
- Documents any relevant work instructions, procedures, forms, process maps and updates training documents based on process or system design changes.
- Works with support of line manager and Data Governance Mgr for problem resolution and analysis for identified defects or projects related to specification data.
- Support testing and implementation of new systems and enhancements.

Context and Scope
- Creates and maintains specification related data for all MWC finished good items within required systems (GRD/Atlas, workflows, etc.).
- Evaluates data change requests to ensure compliance with business data processes and data quality standards; resolve compliance issues with requestors and users of data.
- Suggests improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team.
- Uses communication skills to regularly exchange information.
- Has authority to block or delay a step if a critical information is missing or incorrect.
- Collaborates with R&D packaging, Supply Chain Master Data Operation and FE/Governance teams.

Qualifications
Education:

·  Required Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline

Knowledge/Experience
Minimum:

·  1 year background in supply chain, customer care, IT, data, R&D or Manufacturing systems
·  1 year ERP systems literacy, particularly in SAP
·  Demonstrated analytical competency

Key Functional Competencies & Technical Skills

·  Understanding of R&D and Supply Chain systems and processes
·  Organizational, prioritization and independent decision making skills
·  Proficient computer skills, including and MS Office (Excel, Word, Visio); advanced in Excel to perform robust data transfer and integrity audits between systems
·  Preferred: SAP Master Data
