Regional Quality & Food Safety Project Coordinator

Location - St. Charles Missouri

What are we looking for?

Career Professional specializing in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, Engineering or similar field
Experience and passing in managing projects
High School or GED degree with 3-5 years progressive experience; Associate degree preferred.
Previous experience in manufacturing and/or QFS
Experience working with the Standards 9001/22000/17025/18001

Willingness to travel to all Royal Canin location in North America frequently, as needed.

What would be your key responsibilities?

The role is responsible to drive through direct participation and activity the improvement of key quality and food safety processes. Based on the strategic QFS deployment priorities and business needs in the region, the role will support and project manage any of the below full scope of QFS systems in the end to end supply chain.

- All quality and food safety requirements inside the factory, supply chain (transportation and distribution centers) and regional quality and food safety activity

including but not limited to:
-Guarantee and apply ISO 9001, FSS/ISO22000, Mars Standards, and all related working procedures
-Develop, implement and maintain the HACCP program in the process department
-Insure GMP-GHP in all areas of the factory
-Support all food safety plan/HACCP plan requirements
-Analysis of results for verification activities, internal and external audits
-Implement, maintain CCPs and PrP's in the department
-Support management of non-conformities (decide, put on hold, isolate, destruct), analyze for root causes and undertake correctives actions
-Supports Food Safety Team as needed
-Maintain (calibration) the quality control equipment
-Support all QFS training requirements of the site

-Support all product testing activities required through sampling, labelling, shipping and communication with partner labs necessary to support site needs including data analysis and reporting

-Maintain the Quality information supply chain (quality control documents…)
-Support all QFS activity inside the transfer and storage of products
-Support the local QFS in the region regarding deployment of new products and ingredients
-Support the verification and validation of all new systems in the factory
-Support the implementation of new software systems to support QFS activity
